Cloud-based software problems: syncing issues and more

Cloud-based software gives users access to specific applications that run on shared computing resources over the Internet. Clouds may be limited to a single organization and known as enterprise clouds or available to many organizations – these ones are commonly referred to as the public clouds.

Some popular cloud storage solutions currently include Google Drive, OneDrive, iCloud, and Microsoft Azure Storage Explorer.

One way or another, cloud computing or simply cloud is just a metaphor for the Internet. Even back in the good old days, the gigantic server-farm infrastructure of the Internet used to include a cloud at the top.
